NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS   THE PENDER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS WILL HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS AS FOLLOWS: DATE OF HEARINGS: October 6, 2025 TIME OF HEARINGS: 6:00 p.m. LOCATION OF HEARINGS: THE PUBLIC HEARING NOTED WILL BE HELD IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS OF THE PENDER COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING LOCATED AT 805 SOUTH WALKER STREET, BURGAW, NC 28425 Notice is hereby given that Pender County will conduct a public hearing on October 6th, 2025, at 6 PM to review the Pender County Imagine Pender 2050 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The meeting will be held in the County Commissioners Chambers of the Pender County Administration building located at 805 South Walker Street, Burgaw, NC 28425. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend. Following the public hearing, the Board of Commissioners will consider adoption of the Land Use Plan. Once adopted, the plan will be submitted to the Director of the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management for certification. Written objections, comments, or statements of support shall be submitted to the Division of Coastal Management’s District Planner, Mike Christenbury 127 Cardinal Drive Extension, Wilmington, NC 28405 no more than 30 calendar days after local adoption of the plan.
