PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Smithfield Township has scheduled a Public Hearing at the Smithfield Township Municipal Building, 1155 Red Fox Road, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18301 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for consideration of the following, to wit:
A hearing on the application of Water Gap Acquisitions Partners, LLC with respect to an appeal from the Zoning Officer’s Enforcement Notice dated August 29, 2025 finding that Water Gap Acquisitions Partners, LLC is operating a residential drug, alcohol and/or substance abuse treatment facility in violation of the Zoning Ordinance on the property located at 288 & 296 Mountain Road in Smithfield Township (PIN 16731000755147; Tax Code No. 16.9.1.26). The property is owned by Water Gap Acquisitions Partners, LLC and is located in the R-1 District of the Township.
A copy of the application may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the actual cost of reproduction thereof at the Smithfield Township Municipal Building, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, during regular business hours.
