NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC JEFFERSON COUNTY, GEORGIA     Notice is hereby given pursuant to OGCA §15-12-81 and §48-5-311 that the November 18, 2025, Jefferson County Grand Jury will select and appoint Members and Alternate Members for the Jefferson County Board of Tax Equalization.   BOARD OF TAX EQUALIZATION QUALIFICATIONS   Members and Alternate Members must: 1) Be eighteen (18) years of age or older; 2) Have resided in the county for six (6) months; 3) Not be the holder of any elective office in state or local government or held any such office within a period of two (2) years preceding appointment; 4) Not be a convicted felon; 5) Own real property; 6) Be at least a high school graduate; and 7) Not be a member of the governing authority of a county, municipality or consolidated government, member of a county or independent board of education, member of the county board of tax assessors, employee of the county board of tax assessors, or county tax appraiser.     For an application, all interested persons should contact Anne L.
