NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS REGARDING DECISION TO ISSUE BONDS OF THE SOUTH BEND COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA   The taxpayers of the South Bend Community School Corporation, St. Joseph County, Indiana (the “School Corporation”), are hereby notified that on September 17, 2025, the Board of School Trustees of the School Corporation (the “Board”), adopted a resolution which determined that the School Corporation will issue general obligation bonds of the School Corporation, payable out of ad valorem property taxes collected by the School Corporation on all taxable property within the geographical boundaries of the School Corporation, to be designated “South Bend Community School Corporation General Obligation Bonds, Series 2025C” in an original aggregate principal amount not to exceed Six Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($6,600,000), with a final maturity ending no later than July 15, 2035, and bearing interest at a rate or rates not exceeding five and one-half percent (5.50%), the exact rate or rates to be determined by bidding or negotiation (the “Bonds”). The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to pay for all or a portion of the cost of (i) certain renovations, repairs and improvements at various School Corporation facilities, including, without limitation, foundation repairs at Edison K-8 School, HVAC improvements and upgrades at Harrison Elementary School and Jefferson Traditional School, masonry repairs at LaSalle Academy, repainting at Marquette Montessori Academy and Monroe Elementary School, parking lot repairs at Clay International Academy, Coquillard Elementary School, Darden Elementary School, Kennedy Academy, Madison STEAM Academy, Navarre Middle School and Rise Up Academy, siding replacement at Dickinson Academy, playground upgrades and improvements at Coquillard Elementary School, Muessel Elementary School, Nuner Fine Arts Academy, Swanson Traditional School and Wilson Elementary School, removal of the septic system at Swanson Traditional School, tower repairs at Adams High School, and window shade replacement at LaSalle Academy; and (ii) other miscellaneous facility improvements, equipping and land improvements and/or acquisition projects throughout the geographical boundaries of the School Corporation.   Dated this 26th day of September, 2025.   SOUTH BEND COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION, ST.
