IVYLAND BOROUGH ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL OPERATIONS, LAWN CARE, LEAF REMOVAL, AND GROUNDS KEEPING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Ivyland until 12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, for winter snow plowing, snow and ice removal, and salting services; AND for spring, summer and fall grass cutting, and general groundskeeping for public areas in Ivyland Borough for the period beginning November 15, 2025 and ending November 14, 2027. Sealed bids will be received during regular office hours at the office of lvyland Borough. Bids should be sealed and marked “SEALED BID - 2025-2027 SNOW REMOVAL/LAWN CARE - DO NOT OPEN.” Ivyland Borough is an Equal Opportunity Employer and follows Pennsylvania wage laws. Copies of the specifications, instructions, and the proposal form may be obtained at no charge at the office of lvyland Borough during regular office hours. Bids must be submitted on the FORM OF PROPOSAL provided by the Borough. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or, in lieu thereof a bank check, in the amount of $2,500.00. The regular office hours for the Borough are 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Borough office is located at 991 Pennsylvania Ave., Ivyland Pennsylvania. All bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at approximately 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the public meeting room of lvyland Borough. The contract may be awarded at the meeting of the Ivyland Borough Council on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at approximately 7:30 PM, or as announced during that meeting. No bidder may withdraw its bid within (30) thirty days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Borough reserves the right to award the work in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough, or to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bids. The Borough of Ivyland invites bids from contractors for snow and ice removal services; or lawn care/groundskeeping/leaf removal services; or both; however, the Borough prefers to award both contracts to a single contractor, and reserves the right to do so should it be deemed to be in the best interests of the Borough.
