NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids with all required documents will be received at Upper Southampton Township Building, Bucks County, Pennsylvania on behalf of Upper Southampton Township and Lower Southampton Township (collectively known as the Municipalities of the Southwest Bucks Solid Waste Committee or “SWBSWC”) for “Residential Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials and Yard Waste Collection” from the residents of Upper Southampton Township and Lower Southampton Township. Requests for proposals, specifications and bid packages may be found online at https://www.ustwp.org/. Sealed Bids shall be received in person or by mail at the Upper Southampton Township Administration Building, 939 Street Road, Southampton, Pennsylvania, 18966 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, October 30, 2025 where they will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be received by 11:00 a.m. on October 30, 2025 to be considered. Bids must be submitted in accordance with all Bid Package requirements, as set forth in the Request for Proposal, detailed specifications, and bid documents. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid, made payable to Upper Southampton Township and Lower Southampton Township. The successful bidder must furnish each municipality a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of the Contract within twenty (20) days after the Contract is awarded. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lower Southampton Township Administration Building, 1500 Desire Avenue, Feasterville, Pennsylvania for review of the specification and bid documents and discussions on bidder questions and responses. All bidders must attend. Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes will be prepared and provided to all attendees.
