PUBLIC RELEASE BID ANNOUNCEMENT
Economic Opportunity Authority at 1120 May Street, Savannah, Ga 31415 is accepting formal Invitation for Bids for food, non-food (i.e., forks, spoons, aluminum pans, etc.) and/or milk items for the Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP). CACFP is a federal nutrition program funded by the USDA to ensure children and adults throughout Georgia have access to nutritious meals. Economic Opportunity Authority will be serving an estimate of 4,300 meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, Monday-Friday in Chatham County. The contract period is from October 15, 2025, to September 30, 2028.

The invitation for bid will open on September 26, 2025, 10 am and close October 6,2025 and must be submitted to Mrs. Matthews no later than 5:00 pm on October 6, 2025. A public bid opening will be held on Thursday October 9, 2025, 10:00 am at 1120 May Street, Savannah, Ga 31415. Bright from the Start will review all contracts.
