REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CITY OF PALM SPRINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Palms Springs is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified firms for RFQ 14-25 Urban Design Services for Convention Center Connector. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Palm Springs is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide planning and design services for a district-scale urban connectivity strategy and design solutions. This strategy will link the Palm Springs Convention Center (PSCC) with adjacent properties and the downtown core. Corridor strategy and design solutions must consider vehicular, pedestrian, alternative transportation, landscaping and other urban design considerations for the build out of the PSCC District (naming of District to occur as a result of Part 2 – Brand Identity and District Marketing). This new district will serve as a cultural, hospitality, and economic connector, enhancing visitor experiences, fostering local pride, and positioning Palm Springs as a premier destination for conventions, tourism, and community engagement. These services may be collectively awarded to one firm (team) or awarded as two separate contracts to two firms. DEADLINE: All statements of qualifications must be electronically received through the PlanetBids e-bidding system via the link provided in the RFQ no later than 2:00 p.m., PDT October 30, 2025. The receiving time date stamp in Planetbids will be the governing time for acceptability of received bids. Late statements of qualifications will not be accepted.
