PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on October 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. the Planning Board of the Township of Holmdel will hold a hearing on the application of St. Benedict Catholic Church and School. The hearing will be held at the Township of Holmdel, Town Hall, Courtroom, 4 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, New Jersey. The premises which are the subject of this application are located on 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey. Said premises are also known as Block 30.09, Lot 6.01, Holmdel, New Jersey.
The applicant seeks Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval for first and second floor additions to the main building for 4 new classrooms and/or communal spaces. Variances for maximum impervious coverage and minimum parking setback are required. In addition, pre-existing variances exist for minimum front yard setback, minimum rear yard setback, parking space size, minimum aisle width and minimum landscape buffer.
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as are required to develop the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require.
The application for development and all supporting maps, site plans and documents are on file in the office of the Department of Planning and Zoning and are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Town Hall, 4 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, New Jersey. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
