REQUEST FOR BIDS UNION COUNTY T.E.A.M.S. CHARTER SCHOOL   The School Business Administrator/ Board Secretary of the Union County T.E.A.M.S. Charter School Board of Trustees, in the County of Union, State of New Jersey, by authority of said Board, solicits sealed bids for student transportation. Bids are to be received at the Business Office of the Union County T.E.A.M.S. Charter School Board of Trustees, located at 242 Old New Brunswick Road, Suite 414, Piscataway, NJ 08854, up to 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on October 14, 2025.   BID NUMBER: UCTEAMS-T1-26 SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITY STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES 2025-2026 School Year   Specifications are available upon request at the business Office of the Union County T.E.A.M.S. Charter School Board of Trustees, located at 242 Old New Brunswick Road, Suite 414, Piscataway, NJ 08854. All Bids must be submitted on the bid form contained in these specifications. Bids not submitted on such form may be rejected.   The Board of Trustees does not accept electronic (email) submissions of the bid.   Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. And N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action.   A prescribed form of Questionnaire must accompany each school transportation bid.   Corporate bidders are required by law (Chapter 33, Laws of 1977 N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) to submit a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning ten percent (10%) or more of their stock.   Bidders must also complete a “Statement of Assurance Regarding Non-Criminal Employment Check”.   A Non-Collusion Affidavit must also be submitted with the bid.   Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers or certified check, made payable to the Union County T.E.A.M.S. Charter School for five percent (5%) of the amount of the annual contract cost, but in no case may it exceed $50,000.00.   All bidders shall submit with their bid package a copy of their Business Registration Certificate as issued by the Department of Treasury of the State of New Jersey (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44).   Failure to comply with these specifications and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause to reject the bid.
