NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO ADOPT ORDINANCE NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of East Manchester Township at their regularly scheduled public meeting on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Office at 5080 North Sherman Street, Mt. Wolf 17347, will hold a public hearing, after which hearing and during which meeting also intends to consider for adoption “AN ORDINANCE OF EAST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE EAST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP ZONING MAP TO REZONE LAND FROM THE AGRICULTURAL (A) DISTRICT TO THE AGRICULTURAL INNOVATION (AI) DISTRICT.” Section 1 of the Ordinance amends to Township’s Zoning Map to rezone Tax Parcel ID Nos. 26-000-NI-0163.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0163.A0-00000, 26-000-NI-0164.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0164.A0-00000, 26-000-NI-0165.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0165.A0-00000, 26-000-NI-0166.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0168.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0168.A0-T0001, 26-000-NI-0168.B0-00000, 26-000-NI-0169.C0-00000, 26-000-NI-0170.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0171.00-00000,  26-000-NI-0176.B0-00000 (excluding area zoned Conservation (C) and area zoned Industrial (I)), 26-000-NI-0177.00-00000, 26-000-NI-0178.00-00000 (excluding area zoned Conservation (C)), 26-000-NI-0178.A0-00000, 26-000-NI-0178.B0-00000, 26-000-NI-0178.C0-00000, 26-000-NI-0178.D0-00000 (excluding area zoned Conservation (C)), and 26-000-NI-0178.E0-00000 from the Agricultural Zoning District to the Agricultural-Innovation Zoning District. Section 2 provides a repealer. Section 3 maintains the validity of the ordinance if any section is stricken by a court. Section 4 makes the ordinance effective immediately after its approval as provided by law.
