LEGAL NOTICE BOROUGH OF TOTOWA PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Wayne Senior Housing Development Corporation has applied to the Planning Board of the Borough of Totowa with reference to property located at 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, designated as Block 12, Lot 2, on the municipal tax map for Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval to convert the property previously occupied by St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly of the Little Sisters of the Poor to senior living units. Together with all other variances, waivers, design standard exceptions, permits, incidental relief and authorizations that may be deemed required, appropriate or necessary by the Board or the Applicant including determinations made during the hearing process which may be generated by way of plans and submissions. In addition to the foregoing described approvals, please note that to the extent revisions are made during the hearing process, measurements, percentages and other calculations may change as will the associated relief required. The applicant reserves the right to amend its application accordingly for other relief from the Borough of Totowa Land Development Ordinance and Environmental Protection Ordinance as may be appropriate or necessary for this application for the proposed use. This application is now on the Planning Board's agenda and a public hearing has been ordered for Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 7:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building, 537 Totowa Road, Totowa, New Jersey, at which time any interested person or persons may have an opportunity to be heard, either in person or by attorney, and present any statement and/or evidence they may have with respect to this application.
