NOTICE REQUESTING VACATION OF ALL OR PORTIONS OF THE PLAT OF HOWE AND CURRIERS ALLOTMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Please take notice that Attorney Jessica Gow of Cobb Cole on Behalf of Cross Creek Ranch Cattle CO, LLC., will on the 21st day of October, 2025, to be heard no sooner than 9:30 o'clock A.M. in the County Council Meeting Room, Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 West Indiana Avenue, DeLand, Florida, petition the County Council of Volusia County, Florida, to vacate all or that portion of the Plat of Howe and Curriers Allotment, as recorded in Map Book 4, Page 44 (a true copy found in Map Book 22, Page 147), in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, DeLand, Florida, and more particularly described as follows:
THAT PORTION OF THE EAST / WEST PLATTED PUBLIC ROAD, LYING SOUTH OF AND ADJACENT TO TRACTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK 4, IN SECTION 16 AND LYING NORTH OF AND ADJACENT TO TRACTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1 IN SECTION 21, HOWE & CURRIERS ALLOTMENT, AS RECORDED IN MAP BOOK 4, PAGE 44 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA LESS THAT PORTION PREVIOUSLY VACATED PER RESOLUTION 2005-05 AS RECORDED IN OFFICIAL RECORDS BOOK 5479, PAGE 0252 OF THE AFORESAID PUBLIC RECORDS.
TOGETHER WITH:
THAT PORTION OF THE NORTH / SOUTH PLATTED PUBLIC ROAD, LYING EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO BLOCK 1 AND BLOCK 4, IN SECTION 21, HOWE & CURRIERS ALLOTMENT, AS RECORDED IN MAP BOOK 4, PAGE 44 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA AND LYING WEST OF AND ADJACENT TO THE WEST LINE OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 17 SOUTH, RANGE 32 EAST. LESS AND EXCEPT THAT PORTION LYING NORTHERLY OF THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF STATE ROAD #44.
TOGETHER WITH:
THAT PORTION OF THE NORTH / SOUTH PLATTED PUBLIC ROAD, LYING EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO BLOCK 1 IN SECTION 28 AND LYING WEST OF AND ADJACENT TO BLOCK 2 IN SECTION 27, HOWE & CURRIERS ALLOTMENT, AS RECORDED IN MAP BOOK 4, PAGE 44 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA SAID PORTION BEING EXTENDED SOUTHERLY TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH A LINE FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BLOCK 3 OF SECTION 27 TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF BLOCK 4 SAID SECTION 28 OF AFORESAID HOWE & CURRIERS ALLOTMENT.

THAT PORTION OF THE EAST / WEST PLATTED PUBLIC ROAD, LYING SOUTH OF AND ADJACENT TO TRACT 11, BLOCK 1, IN SECTION 28 AND LYING NORTH OF AND ADJACENT TO TRACT 2, BLOCK 4 IN SECTION 28, HOWE & CURRIERS ALLOTMENT, AS RECORDED IN MAP BOOK 4, PAGE 44 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA,
Petitioner asserts that it is the fee simple title owner of all or that portion of said plat sought to be vacated.
Persons interested may appear and be heard at the time and place above specified.
