ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITATION TO BID:   Notice is hereby given that the Ormond Beach Housing Authority (OBHA) is accepting bids for Security Cameras on the Ramsey Terrace, Flormond Avenue, South Washington Street, Hand Avenue, Division Street Communities.   Pre-Bid Meeting:  a walk through of the properties for the cameras will be held on October 15, 2025 at 10:00 am at 100 New Britain Avenue, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Bids will be accepted at 100 New Britain Avenue, Ormond Beach Florida 32174 until October 21, 2025, 9:00 am, in 1 separate sealed envelope marked (SECURITY CAMERAS) at which time all bids will be opened and the lowest bidder will receive a letter stating if their bid was accepted.   Contract documents are available for public inspection and may be obtained for the sum of $20.00, non- refundable, from Ormond Beach Housing Authority, 100 New Britain Avenue, Ormond Beach, Florida.   Contact Caroline Meyers, Executive Director, at (386) 677-2069 x 4 with any questions.   This is a federally assisted project and is subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act, which includes Dabis-Bacon (Certified Payroll, 24 CFT 85.36 (bonding requirements), Section 3 & M/WBE and related acts. Laborers and mechanics employed by the general contractors and subcontractors performing construction work on this project shall be paid wages at ta rate no less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act.   The prime contractor is responsible for the enforcement of wage compliance and supporting documentation for the duration of the project and may be held liable for wage restitution. The applicable information regarding the laws and regulations stated above are included in the bid packet. Small businesses and minority firms are urged to submit proposals. Certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (or number of partners, shareholders, •employees who are members of a minority classification or are women) should be included in the bid proposal.   Bids received after the date and time specified for the bid opening will not be considered.
