INVITATION TO BID
The City of Lawrence, Marion County, Indiana, by and through its Redevelopment Commission, herein referred to as the Owner, will invite sealed bids for the installation of landscaping and raised concrete planters as part of the Pendleton Pike Median Landscape Improvements project.
The contract will consist of the following:
Replacement of existing soil in medians along Pendleton Pike for areas slated for landscaping. Landscaping including perennials, shrubs, planting soil, stone cobble and hardwood mulch. Seeding of medians not slated for landscaping. Bid alternate for raised concrete planters and trees for portions of two medians.
Sealed bids are due by no later than 2.p.m on Wednesday October 29th, 2025.
Sealed bids shall be received at the City of Lawrence Public Works office located inside the Lawrence Government Center at 9001 E. 59th Street, Suite 205, Lawrence, IN 46216 9201 Harrison Park Court, Lawrence, Indiana 46216 by no later than 2:00 P.M. (local time) on October 29th, 2025. Any proposals received after 2:00 P.M. time shall be returned unopened. All proposals shall be publicly opened and read aloud soon after 2:00 P.M. on the same day (October 29th) at the Public Assembly Room located inside the Lawrence Government Center (9001 E. 59th Stret, Lawrence, Indiana 46216).

These percentages are aspirational goals and are not quotas or set asides; they are intended to encourage broad participation and reflect the City’s commitment to equitable opportunities.
The Contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsive, responsible Bid. The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or waive any informality or technicality in any Bid. A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted.
