NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS The City of Apalachicola will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing the:    CITY OF APALACHICOLA, FLORIDA IGA LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS This project shall consist of constructing the lift station improvements including demolishing and replacing the existing pumps, piping, electrical panels, yard piping modifications and other appurtenances as detailed on the plans and specifications.  Plans and specifications can be obtained at Dewberry Engineers Inc., 324 Marina Drive, Port St. Joe, FL 32456. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.  Completion date for this project will be 150 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder.  Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $500.00per day.  Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid for the “IGA LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS”.  Bids will be received until 12:00 EST on Nov 11, 2025, at City Hall, 1 Bay Avenue, Apalachicola, Florida 32320 and will be opened and read aloud at 2:00 EST on Nov 11, 2025, at City Hall, 1 Bay Avenue, Apalachicola, Florida 32320.  Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum price as indicated in the Bid Form. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.
