NOTICE CALLING FOR BID PROPOSALS FOR DEMO AND INSTALLATION OF THE CARMENITA PARK PLAYGROUND PROJECT

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District (PVRPD) invites sealed bids for the purpose of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals for the demo and installation of a new playground, Carmenita Park Playground Project CPPG25/25. The work will take place within the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District boundaries, Camarillo, CA and other related work as described in the Specifications and Contract Documents, by reference, made a part hereof. This is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. D.I.R. Sealed bids will be received at the administrative office of Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks 1605 E. Burnley St., Camarillo, CA 93010. Bids are due on Monday, November 3, 2025, by 10:00 a.m. There is a Mandatory site walk to be held at the project site, Carmenita Park, 1506 Sevilla St. Camarillo, CA 93010 on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. A full set of contract documents are available for inspection on the District’s web site. CLASSIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS' LICENSES - In accordance with Public Contract Code Section 3300, a Contractor submitting a proposal for performance of the Work shall possess a classification of “Class A or D-34” License, and MUST be GameTime certified playground installer. The Contractor shall certify that the license(s) specified herein is/are the classification(s) of contractor's license(s) required by law to perform the Work contemplated by the Contract Documents, and submission of a bid shall be deemed certification thereof by the bidder. Bidders are hereby notified they must meet all State and Federal Labor requirements, including the State Prevailing Wage rates which shall apply. In addition, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations shall apply.
