NOTICE OF PUBLIC BID AND NOTICE OF IMPENDING RAZING OF STRUCTURE(S) BY THE CITY OF EVANSVILLE/BUILDING COMMISSION
Pursuant to I.C. 36 7 9 ll, notice is given by the City of Evansville/Vanderburgh County Building Commission that the structures listed below will be razed by the City of Evansville acting through the Building Commission on or after OCTOBER 23, 2025, as per the order affirmed by the Hearing Officer. The bid will be opened during a meeting of the Safety Board for the City of Evansville on OCTOBER 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in Room 301 Civic Center Complex, Evansville, Indiana. The bid price of the licensed contractor who accomplishes the work and an amount representing a reasonable estimate of the cost incurred by the City of Evansville/Vanderburgh County Building Commission in processing the matter of the unsafe premises may, if not paid, be recorded in the office of the Vanderburgh County Recorder, as a lien against all persons having a fee interest or life estate interest in the unsafe premises. ALL PERSONAL ITEMS AND EFFECTS ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE STRUCTURE BY OCTOBER 22, 2025. If these items are not removed, they will be demolished as the structure is razed.
