Hamilton School District Board of Education Special Meeting September 16, 2025 Present: Steve Ciesielski and Ashlie Schaffner. The meeting was called to order by President Schneider at 6:30 p.m. The Statement of Meeting Notice was read by President Schneider. Present: Schneider, Ziemer, Castillo, Van Aacken, Lodzinski (6:33 p.m.) Excused: Streblow Motion by Van Aacken, seconded by Ziemer, resolved to approve the agenda, as presented. Voice vote. Motion carried. The Board discussed the procedures to be followed to appoint Village of Sussex Board representative. The Board interviewed the applicants for the Village of Sussex Board representative vacancy. The Board reviewed and discussed the candidates for the Village of Sussex Board Representative seat to fill the vacancy. The Board conducted one round of voting by ballot and achieved a majority vote. The Board appointed Ashlie Schaffner as the Village of Sussex Board representative, to fill the vacancy of Ms. Christy Gest-Marlin, with the term ending April 26, 2026. Yes-4; No-1. Motion by Lodzinski, seconded by Ziemer, resolved to adjourn the meeting. Voice vote. Motion carried.
