Portage County Board of Adjustment
Notice is hereby given that Portage County Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 4:00 pm in Conference Room 5 of the County Annex, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to consider the following petition:
Petition No. PET-2025-017, Special Exception Request by Mark Sommers, agent for owner Robert Berard for an accessory building exceeding the allowed accessory floor area within the R-2 Single Family Residence Zoning District, located at 1445 Plover Heights Road, Town of Hull, parcel 020240813-07.02.
Materials and information related to this request will be available for viewing one week prior to the Hearing date online at www.co.portage.wi.us by clicking on the agenda packet for the Board of Adjustment Committee meeting in the Agendas/Minutes Calendar. All interested persons are invited to attend said hearings and be heard, and accommodations have been made to do so remotely if you prefer. The deadline for sending comments in writing is 2 business days prior to the meeting. Comments will be delivered to the Board members and posted at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.
The Board of Adjustment will conduct an on-site inspection of the petitioner's premises on Monday, October 20, 2025, prior to the Board of Adjustment meeting.
