NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Legislators of the County of Oneida, New York, will meet in the Legislative Chamber on the 10th Floor of the County Office Building, 800 Park Avenue, in Utica, New York, in said County, on November 12, 2025 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., Prevailing Time, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing upon a proposal to increase the estimated cost of improvements to facilities for the Oneida County Sewer District, consisting of the ultraviolet disinfection of treated effluent water, including incidental expenses and improvements in connection therewith, as more fully described in the map and report and estimate of cost prepared in relation thereto, at which time and place said Board of Legislators will hear all parties interested therein concerning the same. The new maximum estimated cost of the sludge processing facilities modifications is $11,400,000, an increase of $5,400,000 over the $6,000,000 previously authorized in connection therewith. The annual cost of such project to the typical one or two family house in the District has been calculated to be $11.00 for a one-family house and $17.00 for a two-family house. A copy of the report and estimate of cost relating to said matter are on file in the office of the Clerk of said Board of Legislators, where the same may be examined during regular business hours.
