The permit was issued Sept. 6, 2018, and is located on the east side of SR 160 approx. 2.0 miles south of the intersection with SR 30 (Reels Corner) on property owned by Appalachian Timber Products, Inc. in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County. The requested land use change is from Woodland and Unmanaged Natural Habitat to Commercial/Industrial. Written comments, objections, and requests for a public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the Department of Environmental Protection, Cambria Office, Bureau of District Mining Operations, 286 Industrial Park Rd., Ebensburg, PA 15931-4119 within thirty (30) days following the fourth and final publication of this notice.
