PUBLIC HEARING Please take notice that the Town of Cramerton Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on October 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 155 N. Main Street, Cramerton, NC 28032. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a rezoning application for the property located at 4539 S New Hope Rd, identified by Gaston County Parcel #189362. The request is to rezone the property from R-1 Residential to B-1 Business District. The proposed use falls under the "Farm Product Sales" category, which is permitted in the R-1 zoning district, however, per section 5.6.E.4. of the LDC, if located in a Residential District, produce sold must be grown on the lot upon which sales are conducted. Due to the nature of the business & lot restrictions, the applicant is requesting the property be rezoned to B-1.
