Invitation to Bid   Pike County Human Services is seeking Pennsylvania Contractors who are interested in submitting bids for home repairs. Pike County Human Services will provide home repairs for approved homeowners in Pike County through The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG). Such repairs include a variety of services that would address problems with walls, roofs, floors, windows, electrical, doors, and plumbing. Pike County Human Services is looking to bid the projects to the lowest responsible contractor(s).   Contractors must have a state and local business license and liability insurance of at least $100,000.00, and hold a current Lead Renovator Certification.   Please be advised that payment for Housing Rehabilitation Projects with be administered in four phases. Construction must begin within 30 days of signing the awarded Contract and the project must be completed within 90 days.   The contracts will be awarded to the lowest, most responsible bidder; however, the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid in connection with said project. The contracts, when awarded, shall be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates (for contracts over $25,000) as well as Section 3 for CFR Part 24 (for contracts over $100,000).   Bids will be received by Pike County Human Services (PIKE), 109 Bennett Avenue, Milford, PA 18337, until 3:00 P.M. on October 30, 2025, for the ABELL REHAB & REPAIRS PROJECT. Bids shall be submitted with all required attachments at the address listed above.   Envelopes containing bids shall be plainly marked specifying bidder’s name, the package being bid, and project name, and delivered or mailed to the address identified above. Electronic bid documents can be obtained by requesting same via email to nohara@doenterprises.net.   The Owner encourages minority and women owned businesses to participate in the bidding. #11744464
