NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION WINDHAM EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOL DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of resolutions of the Board of Education of the Windham Exempted Village School District, Portage County, Ohio passed on July 15, 2025 and July 23, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the Windham Exempted Village School District at a General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the question of a renewal tax levy for the purpose of general permanent improvements. Tax being a renewal of a tax of 1.5 mills that the county auditor estimates will collect $76,969 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $33 for each $100,000 dollars of the county auditor’s appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027. The polls for said election will be open at 6:30 a.m., and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
