NOTICE SEALED BIDS will be received and publicly opened by the Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg of Franklin County at 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, until 2:00 P.M.., prevailing time, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2025, for the following: Recreation Department Entry Door Replacement. A pre-bid meeting will be held on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Eugene C. Clark, Jr. Community Center, 235 South Third Street, Chambersburg PA 17201. The Contract involves the competitive solicitation for Recreation Department Entry Door Replacement Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Secretary, Borough of Chambersburg, Recreation Department, 235 S. Third Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201, or viewed at www.borough.chambersburg.pa.us. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Borough. A Proposal Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders maximum bid price is required to accompany the Bid. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
