A General Election will be held on November 4, 2025, between the hours of 6:00AM and 8:00PM. Several State Positions, including those from the 15th, 16th and 23rd Legislative Districts, County and local positions, School Board Members for Regional High Schools and their local sending districts, Fire Districts, State Constitutional Amendments, and Municipal Referendum Questions are as follows:

FIRE DISTRICT BALLOT QUESTION
Shall the Board of Commissioners of Fire District No. 1 in the Township of East Amwell in the County of Hunterdon, State of New Jersey be authorized to purchase a F550 Chassis Fire Truck (in an amount not to exceed $175,000) to be paid for using previously reserved capital funds?
INTERPRETIVE STATEMENT
A YES vote will authorize the Board of Fire Commissioners to purchase a F550 Chassis Fire Truck, the cost of which shall be paid for using previously reserved capital funds. A NO vote would mean that none of the above fire truck would be purchased.

BOND PROPOSAL QUESTION
The Board of Education of the Township of Holland in the County of Hunterdon, New Jersey (the “Board”) is authorized to:
(a) undertake various improvements and renovations to the Holland Township School, including but not limited to roof and window replacements, HVAC upgrades, renovations to bathrooms, lockers, flooring, classrooms and the multi-purpose room, including acquisition and installation of fixtures, furniture, equipment, and any site work;
(b) appropriate $15,972,660 for such improvements; and
(c) issue bonds in an amount not to exceed $15,972,660.
The final eligible costs for the projects approved by the New Jersey Commissioner of Education are $15,972,660. The projects include $0 for school facility construction elements in addition to the facilities efficiency standards developed by the Commissioner of Education or not otherwise eligible for State support pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-5(g). The State debt service aid percentage will equal 40% of the annual debt service due with respect to the final eligible costs of the projects. The State debt service aid is contingent upon the passing of this Bond Proposal Question. The Board of Education is authorized to transfer funds among the projects approved at this election.

The Board of Education of the Township of Readington in the County of Hunterdon, New Jersey (the “Board”) is authorized to (a) undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, and upgrades at Readington Middle School, Holland Brook School, Three Bridges School and Whitehouse School, including acquisition and installation of fixtures, equipment, and any site work; (b) appropriate $38,047,117 for such improvements; and (c) issue bonds in an amount not to exceed $38,047,117.
The final eligible costs for the projects approved by the New Jersey Commissioner of Education are $36,632,267 (consisting of $12,173,247 for Readington Middle School, $7,214,551 for Holland Brook School, $8,661,545 for Three Bridges School and $8,582,924 for Whitehouse School). The projects include $1,414,850 (consisting of $540,000 for Readington Middle School, $150,650 for Holland Brook School, $320,000 for Three Bridges School and $404,200 for Whitehouse School) for school facility construction elements in addition to the facilities efficiency standards developed by the Commissioner of Education or not otherwise eligible for State support pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-5(g). The State debt service aid percentage will equal 40% of the annual debt service due with respect to the final eligible costs of the projects. The Board of Education is authorized to transfer funds among the projects approved at this election.

The Board of Education of the Township of Tewksbury in the County of Hunterdon, New Jersey (the “Board”) is authorized to (a) undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, and upgrades at Tewksbury Elementary School, including but not limited to improvements and upgrades to the HVAC system, boiler replacement, and the replacement of exterior doors, including acquisition and installation of fixtures, equipment, and any site work; (b) undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, and upgrades at Old Turnpike School, including but not limited to improvements and upgrades to the HVAC system, the replacement of various portions of flooring, and the replacement of exterior doors, including acquisition and installation of fixtures, equipment, and any site work; (b) appropriate $14,688,916 for such improvements; and (c) issue bonds in an amount not to exceed $14,688,916.
The final eligible costs for the projects approved by the New Jersey Commissioner of Education are $14,688,916 (consisting of $10,979,030 for Tewksbury Elementary School and $3,709,886 for Old Turnpike School). The projects include $0 for school facility construction elements in addition to the facilities efficiency standards developed by the Commissioner of Education or not otherwise eligible for State support pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-5(g). The State debt service aid percentage will equal 40% of the annual debt service due with respect to the final eligible costs of the projects. The Board of Education is authorized to transfer funds among the projects approved at this election.

The Board of Education of the Township of Tewksbury in the County of Hunterdon, New Jersey (the “Board”) is authorized to (a) undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations, and upgrades at Old Turnpike School, including but not limited to the replacement of interior doors, and renovations to various instructional spaces, including the art classroom, science labs, technology room, and all-purpose room (APR); including acquisition and installation of fixtures, furniture, equipment, and any site work; (b) appropriate $10,322,515 for such improvements; and (c) issue bonds in an amount not to exceed $10,322,515.
The final eligible costs for the projects approved by the New Jersey Commissioner of Education are $10,322,515. The projects include $0 for school facility construction elements in addition to the facilities efficiency standards developed by the Commissioner of Education or not otherwise eligible for State support pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-5(g). The State debt service aid percentage will equal 40% of the annual debt service due with respect to the final eligible costs of the projects. The Board of Education is authorized to transfer funds among the projects approved at this election.

VOTERS WITH DISABILITIES
All voting machines in Hunterdon County are equipped with audio voting for the blind. Voters who have difficulty voting due to blindness, disability, or an inability to read or write may bring a person to assist them at the polls or may ask for assistance from the poll workers.
REGISTRATION OF VOTERS
Registration of voters will be conducted at the office of the Hunterdon County Board of Elections, 112 Broad Street, Flemington, or at the office of the Municipal Clerks each weekday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
REGISTRATION BY MAIL
Anyone who wishes to register by mail can do so by requesting mail Registration Application forms from the County Board of Elections, Flemington at 788-1190.
VOTING REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to vote in Hunterdon County, a person must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of New Jersey and of Hunterdon County for 30 days and shall have attained the age of 18 years by the day of the General Election, November 4, 2025.
EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING
Early In-Person voting on a voting machine begins Saturday October 25, and ends Sunday, November 2, 2025. The hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Sundays 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Drop Boxes are open 45 days prior to the date of the election and will be locked at 8pm, close of polls Election Night. All boxes are monitored by video surveillance.
NOTICE TO FIRST TIME REGISTRANTS BY MAIL IN HUNTERDON COUNTY AFTER JANUARY 1, 2003
If you have not provided proper identification for this election to the Board of Elections, you will be required to do so at the polls. If you need assistance in completing this identification, call the Board of Elections at (908) 788-1190.
TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION
A voter who is registered to vote in one District of Hunterdon County and who moves his residence to another part of Hunterdon County must transfer his registration to the new address. This can be accomplished by informing the County Board of Elections in writing. Such notice shall be signed by the voter.
ATTENTION VOTERS WHO HAVE MOVED
If you were a registered voter in a municipality of this county, moved to another municipality of this county but did not submit a change of address to the County Commissioner of Registration, you are entitled to vote in the General Election. On Election Day you should go to your NEW polling place and request a Provisional Ballot.
If you have already completed a voter registration form for your new address, you will receive a sample ballot in the mail. If you do not receive the sample ballot, follow the instructions above, or call the office of your County Commissioner of Registration before Election Day.
Any registered voter who has moved to another county any time prior to 21 days before the election (October 14, 2025) must have completed a new voter registration to vote.
VOTE BY MAIL VOTERS
If you have received or requested a vote by mail ballot you are not permitted to vote on a voting machine for any election. You will be offered a Provisional Ballot at your polling location.
