LEGAL NOTICE   Louisville City School District Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of the Louisville City School District, Stark County, Ohio, passed on the 8th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on the 4th day of November, 2025, the following: “Shall a tax levy substituting for an existing levy be imposed by the Louisville City School District for the purpose of providing for the necessary requirements of the school district in the initial sum of $2,562,000, and a levy of taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to require 4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $140 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value for the initial year of the tax, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026, with the sum of such tax to increase only if and as new land or real property improvements not previously taxed by the school district are added to its tax list?” The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. Canton time, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
