LEGAL NOTICE   Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Stark County, Ohio, passed on the 6th day of August, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on the 4th day of November, 2025, the following: “An additional tax for the benefit of the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities for the purpose of the operation of community programs and services authorized by county boards of developmental disabilities, for the acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance, and operation of developmental disabilities facilities, or for both of such purposes, that the county auditor estimates will collect $21,408,944 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.6 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $56 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.” The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. Canton time, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
