LEGAL NOTICE   Village of East Sparta Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Village Council of the Village of East Sparta, Stark County, Ohio, passed on the 15th day of April, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on the 4th day of November, 2025, the following: “An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of East Sparta for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in municipal corporations, counties, or townships that the county auditor estimates will collect $78,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.” The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. Canton time, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
