LEGAL NOTICE   Massillon City School District Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of the Massillon City School District, Stark County, Ohio, passed on the 23rd day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on the 4th day of November, 2025, the following: “Shall a levy renewing an existing levy be imposed by the Massillon City School District for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the school district in the sum of $2,000,000 and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average 2.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $102 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027?” The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. Canton time, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
