Notice of Public Hearing 1) Pursuant to the requirements of Proposition 218 (Cal Const. Art XIIID) Notice is hereby given that the Channel Islands Beach Community Services District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing to consider and adopt an Amendment to Ordinance 99 “CHANNEL ISLANDS BEACH COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT RATES AND REGULATIONS FOR WATER, SEWER, AND REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICES. The Amendment proposes implementing the requirements of California Senate Bill 1383 designed to establish methane reduction targets in a statewide effort to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants. A copy of the proposed amendment may be examined at the District Office during regular business hours or on the District website at cibcsd.com. Board action is anticipated at the November 12, 2025 regular Board meeting. Comments may be made by attending the Public Hearing.
