NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING, INTENTION TO ADOPT AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SHIPPINGPORT BOROUGH ZONING MAP   Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Shippingport will conduct a public hearing on November 4, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Shippingport Borough Municipal Building, S.R. 3016, Shippingport, Pennsylvania to receive public comments in consideration of the adoption of a map change to the Shippingport Borough Zoning Ordinance Number 184. The proposed change would amend said map by rezoning Tax Parcel Number 50-182-0106 POO from R2 Residential to 1 2 General Industrial. Following the hearing the Council will convene a public meeting at the aforesaid location beginning at 7:00 p.m. at which it will consider adoption of the aforesaid amendment to the Zoning Map Following is a summary of the proposed Ordinance: Section 1.
