NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the Environmental Resources Committee of the Marathon County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., Marathon County Courthouse Assembly Room B-105 500 Forest Street Wausau 54403, at which time the Committee will consider the following:
1. The petition of Tim Vreeland on behalf of Paul Buchkowski to amend the General Code of Ordinance for Marathon County Chapter 17 Zoning Code to rezone lands form N-C Neighborhood Commercial and G-A General Agriculture to R-R Rural Residential located in the Northeast ¼ of the Northwest ¼ and the Southeast ¼ of the Northwest ¼ of Section 9, Township 27 North, Range 9 East, Town of Reid. Area to be rezoned to R-R Rural Residential is described as Lot 1 of the preliminary CSM. Parent Parcel #064-2709-092-0994 and #064-2709-092-0996.
2. The petition of Tim Vreeland on behalf of Tim Grosbier to amend the General Code of Ordinance for Marathon County Chapter 17 Zoning Code to rezone lands from R-R Rural Residential to R-E Rural Estate, described as Lot 1 of CSM 20160 recorded as document #1923243, located in the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 23, Township 26 North, Range 3 East, Town of McMillan. Parcel #056-2603-234-0957.
3. The petition of David Kilty on behalf of Pam Kilty to amend the General Code of Ordinance for Marathon County Chapter 17 Zoning Code to rezone lands from G-A General Agriculture to R-R Rural Residential described as the west 33 Feet of the following described parcel: that part of the East ½ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 16, Township 26 North, Range 2 East, Town of Spencer, Marathon County, Wisconsin, lying North of Highway 13 and Kilty Drive and lying West of County Road F; except Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map 7436-28-209, as Document No. 1002282; also except Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map 15448-70-30, as Document No. 1538270; ALSO except starting at a point on the West line of the NE 1/4-SE 1/4, Section 16, Township 26 North, Range 2 East, where said West line intersects with the East right-of-way line of State Highway 13; thence North to the Northwest corner of the NE 1/4-SE 1/4; thence East a distance of 200 feet; thence South, at right angles, to the point where said line intersects with the East line of State Highway 13, thence Northwesterly, along the East right-of-way line of State Highway 13, to the Point of Beginning, also except that part conveyed for highways in document #1548798 and in Volume 488, Page 49, Town of Spencer. Parent Parcel #074-2602-164-0986.
