Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Roll call was taken. Meredith Wittmann moved and Brianna Allen Kaiser seconded to approve the creation of: One 6 hour special education aide; Three 5.5 hour special education aides; and One 1.5 supervisory aide. Motion passed 6-0. b. Mike Dudzik moved and Sheryl Cerniglia seconded to approve the recommended elementary science report card indicators. Motion passed 6-0. c. Sheryl Cerniglia motioned and Meredith Wittmann seconded to name the new pool facility the "Oak Creek Aquatic Center". Motion passed 6-0. d. Meredith Wittmann motioned and Mike Dudzik seconded to approve the Board Meeting Operating Norms as stated and bulleted in the Establishment of Board Meeting and Operating Norms Situation Report document. Motion passed 6-0. 10. Information Items: a. Director of Student Services Monica Church shared the Seclusion and Restraint Report with the Board. b. District Office Administrators shared a presentation about the District Strategic Plan c. The Student School Board representatives and School Board members discussed Student Representation at Board Meetings Bylaw. (Neola Bylaw 0141.1) d. The Board heard the First Reading of School Board Policy Updates for Section 3000 (Personnel) and Section 6000 (Finances) e. The Board tabled the Visioning versus Board Self-Evaluation, Bylaw 0174.5. This item will be discussed at the October 13th School Board Meeting. f. Chief Business and Finance Officer Blaise Paul shared the August Financial Report with the Board. g. The Board reviewed the Upcoming School Board Meeting Tentative Agendas Report. 11. Sheryl Cerniglia moved and Meredith Wittmann seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:38 p.m. Motion passed 6-0.
