COLUMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS INVITATION TO BID 2025-13 ELLISVILLE – FDOT WASTEWATER INTERCONNECT  The Board of County Commissioners (County) will receive sealed proposals in the office of Commissioners, 135 NE Hernando Avenue, Suite 203, Lake City, FL 32055, until 2:00 PM local time on NOVEMBER 6, 2025 for the following: ELLISVILLE – FDOT WASTEWATER INTERCONNECT The Project consists of constructing an interconnect between the Columbia County Ellisville WWTP and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) MM-413 Rest Area WWTP. Work approximately includes 540 LF of 4-inch and 6-inch DIP forcemain, 3,130 LF of 4-inch and 6-inch PVC forcemain, and one duplex submersible pump station at the existing Ellisville WWTP site with related valves, fittings, appurtenances, electrical and control equipment. The Bid Form and other Bid and Construction Documents may be obtained from the County’s website at http://www.columbiacountyfla.com/PurchasingBids.asp. The deadline for questions regarding Bid Documents or Construction Plans and Specifications must be received in writing before Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Questions shall be directed in writing to the County Purchasing Department at ejones@columbiacountyfla.com. The successful Bidder shall furnish a 5% bid bond with Bid submittal, and if selected, shall furnish the County Manager with a Performance Bond and Proof Liability Insurance prior to commencing work. The Columbia County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to add to the contract or delete from the contract to stay within their funding capabilities.
