NOTICE OF PETITION TO QUIET TITLE AND BAR OF REDEMPTION
To: Ora Bell Kelson, her heirs and assigns; Antonio T. Barnwell, his heirs and assigns; The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah; occupants, and All the World, all other persons known and unknown who claim or might claim adversely, to whom it may concern.
You are hereby notified that the above-styled action seeking to establish title to the within-described property against all the world was filed on October 1, 2024, in the Superior Court of Chatham County, Georgia, Eastern Judicial Circuit, concerning land known and described as follows:
All those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being to the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, and known upon & map of plan of said City as Lots Numbers Two Hundred Thirty-seven (237) and Two Hundred Thirty-eight (238), Morrison Ward. Said lots lying contiguous and having a combined frontage of Sixty (60) feet on Hall Street with a rectangular depth Southwardly of One Hundred Ten (110) feet and bounded as follows; North by Hall Street, East by Johnson Street, South by Maple Street and West by Lot Number Two Hundred Thirty-nine (239), said Ward.
Being the same property conveyed to Chatham County/City of Savannah Land Bank Authority, Inc., by Sheriff's Deed, dated June 7, 2022, recorded in Deed Book 2866, Page 390, Chatham County, Georgia, records.
Known as 0 Pitt Street, Savannah, Georgia 31415 (PIN 20050 04001).
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §48-4-45, the named parties should take notice that the right to redeem the property will be foreclosed thirty days from the date of first publication of this notice. The tax deed to which this notice refers is dated June 7, 2022, and is recorded in Deed Book 2866, Page 390, Chatham County, Georgia records. By reason of order for service by publication, entered by said court on the October 16, 2025, you are hereby commanded to be and appear at the Superior Court within thirty (30) days of the date of the order for service by publication to make known your interest in said property, and file your answer, along with any objections to the Petition, defenses or other appearances, with the Clerk of said Court and serve a copy upon Joseph M. Gannam, Petitioner's attorney, whose address is P.O. Box 10085, Savannah, Georgia 31412.
