Proposed Rezone
Before the Town of Franklin Planning Commission
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Franklin Town Hall, 14134 Taus Road, Cato, WI.
The Town of Franklin Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for the purpose of considering the rezoning of approximately 5.0 acres from Exclusive Agricultural District (EAG) to General Agriculture District (AG). The 5.0 acres EAG zoned land is open field with the Branch River along the east proposed line and will be removed from parent parcel 005027007002.00 and will be combined with the existing parcel 005027007005.00 which is currently 5.4 acres. The new proposed CSM will be rezoned too General Agricultural (AG) in its entirety. The Town of Franklin UOD does not allow split zoning of property on a single CSM. The parcel is located in part of the SW ¼, NW ¼ Section 27, T20N, R22E Town of Franklin, Wisconsin. The location of the property address is: 6501 County Hwy J, Whitelaw, WI 54247.

The 6.843 acres EAG zoned land is open field with a navigable waterway along the east proposed line and will be removed from parent parcel 005005007000.00. The new proposed CSM will be rezoned to General Agricultural (AG) which is located in part of the SW ¼, N ¼ Section 5, T20N, R22E Town of Franklin, Wisconsin. The location of the property address is: 11315 Grimms Road, Whitelaw, WI 54247.
