Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Village Council of Riverlea, Ohio, passed on the 29th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Village of Riverlea for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges.
Tax being a replacement of part of an existing levy, being a reduction of 0.4 mills, to constitute a tax of 1.1 mills at a rate not exceeding 1.1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $39 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years.
The estimated annual collections of this levy is $46,100.
The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
