Notice of Election on Proposition R.C. 3501.11(G) Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of Genoa Area Local School District of Genoa, Ohio, passed on the 26th day of June, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of Genoa Area Local School District at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of: Shall a tax levy substituting for an existing levy be imposed by the Genoa Area Local School District for the purpose of providing for the necessary requirements of the school district in the initial sum of $1,230,395, and a levy of taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to require 4.3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $151 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value for the initial year of the tax, for a period of a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026, with the sum of such tax to increase only if and as new land or real property improvements not previously taxed by the school district are added to its tax list?
