NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 ___________________________ Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Trustees of Madison Township, Ohio passed on the 4th day of August 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Township of Madison for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges. Tax being an additional tax of 1.5 mills that the county auditor estimates will collect $83,244 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
