Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Sugar Creek Township, Ohio, passed on the 9th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Southern Sugar Creek Township Fire District for the purpose of fire and EMS. Tax being a renewal of an existing tax of 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $52 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for three years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $177,957. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
