Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Baughman Township, Ohio, passed on the 30th day of June, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Unincorporated Baughman Township Fire District for the purpose of fire and emergency medical services. Tax being an additional tax of 1.75 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $61 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for five years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $192,975. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
