ORDINANCE An Ordinance to amend Section 3.150 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code regulating the Room Tax Commission. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Manitowoc do ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 3.150 is amended to read as follows: "3.150 Room Tax Commission. … (4) Appropriation. All funds collected pursuant to Manitowoc Municipal Code 23.050 The City of Manitowoc shall annually retain the greater of either 30 percent of the total room tax collected or $196,777.72, which was the amount retained by the City in the 2010 fiscal year, as authorized by Wis. Stats. § 66.0615(1m)(dm)(5). The remaining balance shall be appropriated to the Room Tax Commission. … Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect the day after publication.
