PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Stroud Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a Public Hearing at the Stroud Township Municipal Building, 1211 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA, 18360, on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 at 6:30 pm for the purpose of hearing the following: ZHB #25-10 Application of Thomas and Janice McKeown of 256 Brushy Mountain Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Applicants seek variance relief from the 35 ft. front and 50 ft. rear yard setbacks of the R-2 District. Applicants intend to construct/install a single-family dwelling along Tanite Road (Township Road 414), also known as Monroe County Tax Map 17.11.1.13-1 between Tanite Road and the westerly bank of the Pocono Creek. Applicants propose a 15 ft. front yard and a rear yard less than 50 ft. Applicants seek renewal of dimensional variance granted by the Board on April 6, 2022, said variance having expired.
