SUBUSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2017, James G. Harris and Shannon Harris, adult resident citizens of Raymond, Hinds County, Mississippi, executed a Deed of Trust to Jack G. Moss, as Trustee for Merchants and Planters Bank, Beneficiary, which Deed of Trust is recorded in Book 638 at Page 5697 in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Hinds County at Jackson, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, by Substitution of Trustee dated September 15, 2025, and recorded in Book 649 at Page 3171 in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Hinds County at Raymond, Mississippi, Merchants and Planters Bank, the holder of the above described deed of trust and the note secured thereby, as authorized by the terms thereof, substituted Joe S. Deaton, III, as Trustee for the benefit of Merchants & Planters Bank in the place and stead of the said James G. Harris and Shannon Harris, named as Trustee in the original deed of trust identified above or any subsequently appointed trustee; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust, and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable, and the legal holder of said indebtedness, Merchants and Planters Bank, having requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee to execute the trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, Substitute Trustee’s fees and expenses of sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Joe S. Deaton, III, Substitute Trustee, will on November 20, 2025, offer for sale at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, within legal hours (between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.) at the North front Door of the Hinds County Courthouse in Raymond, Mississippi, the following-described property;
 
Part of the SW ¼ SW ¼ of Section 29;
Part of the SE ¼ SE ¼ of Section 30;
Part of the NE ¼ NE ¼ of Section 31; and
Part of the NW ¼ NW ¼ of Section 32,
all in T5N-R2W, Hinds County, Mississippi
 
Title to the above-described property is believed to be good, but I will convey only such title as vested in me as
Substitute Trustee.
