A free copy of the petition may be obtained from the Clerk of Juvenile Court of Chatham County, 197 Carl Griffin Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405, on any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  You are commanded to be and appear at a hearing on said matter on November 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. You are entitled to object either to the establishment of a permanent guardianship or to the selection of the petitioners as permanent guardians, or both. You will lose all rights to object to the appointment of a permanent guardian for the minor if you do not file an objection with the Court within 14 days of the date of the second publication of this notice and file a petition to legitimate the minor within 30 days of the hearing on your objection. If you fail to appear and answer the allegations in the petition, the Court may make findings of fact and orders of disposition of the child that will affect your rights as a parent.  You are entitled to counsel in these proceedings and an attorney has been appointed to represent you in this matter.
