NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plan Commission, of the Town of Lamartine, will hold a Public Hearing on the matter of rezoning approximately 1.5 Acres of Intensive Farmland Preservation to Residential District. The property is described as follows:
A part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, T. 15 N.-R. 16 E., Town of Lamartine, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 32; thence South 00°-06'-00" West along the West line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 32, 1564.39 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing South 00°-06'-00" West along said West line, 50.00 feet; thence North 89º-34'-10" East, 342.57 feet; thence South 00º-25'-50" East, 175.00 feet; thence North 89º-34'-10" East, 225.00 feet; thence North 00º-25'-50" West, 225.00 feet; thence South 89º-34'-10" West, 567.10 feet to the point of beginning and containing 1.556 acres (67,742 sq. ft.) of land, more or less.

The hearing will be held at the Lamartine Municipal Building Meeting Room on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Located at N5269 Schaefer Drive, Oakfield (mailing address but, the hall is located with the Fire Department on the corner of County Road Y and Schaefer Drive in the Town of Lamartine).
A majority of the Lamartine Town Board members may be present; therefore, the public is hereby informed that a quorum of the Town Board may exist at this public hearing.
The Lamartine Town Board will take action on the Plan Commissions' recommendation at the Regular Town Board Meeting on Monday November 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
If granted, this rezoning would have the effect of amending the town-zoning map, from Intensive Farmland Preservation to Residential.
