NOTICE/INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Monroe County, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the following: MONROE COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT 1. Aggregate: Stone, Gravel, and Sand 2. Longitudinal Pavement Markings, Paint 3. Longitudinal & Transverse Markings, Thermoplastic 4. Removal of Longitudinal & Transverse Markings, Thermoplastic 5. Corrugated Metal Pipe and High Density, Polyethylene Pipe, N-12. Sealed bids will be received at the Monroe County Legal Department, 100 W. Kirkwood Avenue, Room 220, Bloomington, Indiana 47404, until 10:00 A.M. E.S.T., on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Bids will be opened and read aloud via Teams Meeting at 1:00 p.m. by representatives of the Monroe County Highway Department. Any bid received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids transmitted by facsimile machine or email will not be accepted. Copies of the Instructions to bidders, the Specifications, and all necessary bid forms may be obtained from the Legal Department 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any, and all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the bidding. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, or portion of the Bid, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days, or as otherwise stated in the Contract Documents before awarding the contract. All out-of-state corporations must have a certificate of authority to do business in the State.
