October 29, 2025 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2.02 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE BROWN COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES (ENTITLED 'MEETINGS') THE BROWN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 - Section 2.02 of Chapter 2 of the Brown County Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows (deletions, if any, are in strike-through, and additions, if any, are underlined): 2.02 MEETINGS. Meetings of the Brown County Board of Supervisors shall be held and conducted in accordance with the Wisconsin Statutes, Section 59.04. An organizational meeting shall be held on the third Tuesday of April in even numbered years at 9:30 a.m. Unless otherwise provided regular meetings of the Brown County Board of Supervisors shall be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Regular meetings of the six Brown County Standing Committees shall occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and said Standing Committee meetings shall commence between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. If a Standing Committee desires to schedule a Special Standing Committee Meeting during a week in which the County Board is scheduled to meet, then said Special Standing Committee Meeting shall occur on Monday of said week, unless meeting on a different day is authorized in advance by the County Board Chair. Section 2 - This ordinance shall become effective upon passage and publication pursuant to law.
